HELP US OH GOD

"Help Us Oh God" is a heartfelt worship anthem for those who are desperate for a move of God in their nation. It is a cry of repentance and revival, asking the Lord to forgive our sins, to heal our broken people, and to give us focused passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ again.

This song was inspired by the life and death of Charlie Kirk and was written the day after he died. Charlie so fearlessly and courageously pushed to see a TURNING POINT in our nation back toward God, and it is our prayer that God would indeed turn our nation back to Himself—that the lost would be saved and that God's people would burn with passion for Jesus alone. As a US citizen, John Gabriel Arends wrote this as a prayer for his own nation, but it is one that he hopes will inspire prayer for people in many other nations as well.

The lyrics of this song draw heavily from 2 Chronicles 7:14, where God promised:

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

If you don’t know Jesus or if you have walked away from Him, this is the time to reach out for Him and pray. This is a window of time when God is moving, and you don’t want to miss it. Don’t harden your voice and think that you have more time. Get right with God today. He is a forgiving God to all who seek Him. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!
